"Food is my passion and it's a privilege to be able to work with it"

My name is Magnus Werdenskog. I have worked as a chef at Michelin two-star restaurant Aquavit in New York, one-star SK Mat in Gothenburg, and at the highly acclaimed Lisa Elmqvist in Stockholm. I also held the Head Chef position at the exclusive cooking studio AVEQIA in Gothenburg.

I'm based in Lincoln, England, but I was born and raised in the middle of Sweden, surrounded by forests, lakes and gardens. My mother sparked my interest in food at a young age when I would pull up a chair to stand on so we could bake cinnamon buns together!

Food is both my interest and passion and it’s a privilege to be able to work with it. To hear that a guest had a fantastic experience or says that the food they’ve just had was the best thing they’d ever eaten gives me so much joy and puts a big smile on my face.
